Individual play therapy

I offer individual play therapy for children and young people (4-13) with a range of social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. I work in collaboration with schools and parents. My background in education gives me a deep understanding of the challenges faced by pupils. Parental consent is essential.

Group play therapy

I also offer group therapy within school settings for children and young people (4-13) with less complex needs. I work in collaboration with the school to select children whose therapeutic needs are similar. I offer six to ten one-hour sessions for up to 6 clients. Parental consent is essential.

Staff mentoring

I offer mentoring for staff working with pupils with SEMH difficulties, supporting confidentially with how to work relationally and therapeutically. I provide support and evidence-based guidance within the context of the school's policies and practice.

Staff training & workshops

I offer Trauma Informed Practice training as well as EBSA/EBSNA training. I also offer bespoke Well-being Workshops for staff.

Parent workshops

I offer a supportive non-judgemental space for parents and carers to connect and ask questions about supporting their child at home. I listen, guide and, when needed, signpost to agencies for specialist support.

Schools offer

My experience and training offers schools both individual and group therapy options. I also mentor staff giving guidance, support, and advice on working therapeutically and relationally with pupils with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties, signposting when appropriate. This helps schools to meet their inclusion requirements and expand their inclusion offer.

In addition, I specialise in EBSA/EBSNA and neurodivergent children and young people, offering staff training to support a deeper understanding of EBSA/EBSNA and guidance on reasonable adjustments, as well as providing therapy if suitable. I am also a trauma informed practitioner and offer staff training for this too.
